We believe that when cattle are raised in a more natural fashion it has many benefits when it comes to our health, the environment and a stress-free life for the cattle.

Environmentally Friendly:  Grass is grown with low levels of inputs such as fertilizers, carbon fuels and other chemicals. Grass also utilizes carbon from the air thus absorbing a major greenhouse gas. We use a grazing method derived from observing the way bison would utilize grass naturally. As a bison herd would move through an area they would “chomp-stomp & fertilize” then leave the grass to recover, rest and thrive.

Animal Friendly: Because our cattle are bred, born and raised on our farm they live a very stress-free life. They are raised in a fashion that works in harmony with their natural instincts.

Healthier beef:  It’s all in the fat. Grass fed beef fat has a different fat structure than beef finished on high grain diets. Due to the way the rumen microbes of cattle can utilize the nutrient advantages of fresh grass the beef has more unsaturated fat with significantly higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acid and Conjugated Linoleic fatty acid (CLA).
